Day 1: Village of Staro Sello- Mountain hut “Villa Luboten”
Saturday morning, the crew meeting will be at Staro Sello and a short briefing will be held from the guide to tell you a short schedule to follow for a successful and joyful hike during the weekend.
After checking the necessary gears of the hikers we proceed hiking the trail toward the hut which is approximately 2h away.
The mountain hut is a wooden construction and you can feel the positive vibe flowing from all over the vibes which will make your brain rest and calm for the next day hike.
From the mountain hut we hike toward the mark trail which leads you toward Luboten peak and from there we have another 2h hike.
Luboten peak is special because it is the first peak of Sharri’s mountain starting from the north side. It is the natural border that separates Macedonia from Kosovo.
The peak is located on an altitude of 2500 masl and you can see the whole polog region (Tetovo, Gostivar), Skopje and some cities of Kosovo: Ferizaj, Prishtina, Gjilan by night u can even see Prishtina’s airport lights.
After the hike we go back at the mountain hut and Vase’s family will be preparing a well deserved meal for the starving crew.

Day 2: Mountain hut “Villa Luboten”- Piribeg peak- Village of Belloviste
Early morning mountain tea will be the starting point for the proper breakfast lightly fill our stomach and go for the next hike which will be only 8 km to the top of Piribeg peak and 12 km back at village of Belovishte.
Destination will be Piribeg peak but we will pass through Livadica lake which is located on Kosovo border with 2200 masl, also It can be seen from the border ridge, a short break is a must to enjoy the view for 5 minutes.
We proceed through the ridge and reach Piribeg peak with an altitude of 2524 masl.
The view is magnificent, we see the upcoming Sharri’s ridge which takes you at Kodra e Diellit (Popova Sapka) and on the west side of the peak we see ski center of Brezovica which is part of Kosovo.
From the top we go back on Macedonian side toward village of Beloviste which descents with a soft slope and a pasture terrain.
We stop by for a dinner at Bellovski Biser or another restaurant where we try a local food chosen by your will.
After we finish the dinner, we say farewells to the team and wishing for another similar hike to happen. See you at the trip.

• Panorama & Landscape
First you hike up to Luboten peak, you already hiked the first peak of Sharri’s massif and you will see the big wide ridge sorted one on another. The whole polog region can be seen from the top, Tetovo, Gostivar, Skopje from Macedonian border but if you look toward the north side you few cities of Kosovo and at the night the Kosovo’s airport can also be seen.
• Cultural and historical pinpoints:
When you reach the second hiking part at an altitude of 1620m after you get out of the woods, you will see a shepherd house on the right and then on the upper side for 100m away you will see a well built house which was made on early years of 1931 and is known as the oldest mountain hut on this mountain and Macedonia.
• Gears & equipments:
Backpack 25/ 30L, hiking boots, hiking comfort trousers, rain jacket, sweatshirt , polyester t-shirts x2, hat, gloves, hiking sticks, sunglasses, sun cream.
•Food:
Prepared food for a meal at the top, 2L of water, dried healthy food, chocolates, candies ect.
